Graduation Requirements

 

In order to graduation from the Hanover Park Regional High School District, a student must complete 130 credits during the course of grades 9-12. Effective with the 2010-11 grade nine class, a pupil must have earned a minimum of 140 credits in courses designed to meet all of the New Jersey Core Content Curriculum Standards. Satisfactory completion of a full year course earns 5 credits; students therefore must gain credit for 24-28 full year courses (or equivalent) to earn a diploma.

Students must pass the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA), the state basic skills examination, in all required areas.
