Ancient and Medieval History

Read primary sources from American History and find information on a variety of history topics through the words of reporters, famous figures, historical speeches, diaries, and other firsthand accounts. Bloom's Literary Reference Online
This database contains literary criticism, biographical information and genre studies for many major authors and their works. It includes writings from famous literary critic Harold Bloom as well as the full text of many literature reference books, information on themes and timelines, and character analysis.  Available through Facts on File.

Britannica Online
View this online version of the popular encyclopedia, which is known for its comprehensive coverage of topics in the humanities, including Language Arts, Social Studies, Art and Music. Experience this Spanish-language encyclopedia with over 47,000 articles and 8,000 images. Proquest Historical New York Times
Experience the “digitized The New York Times from the 19^th Century to the present. The historical archives has digitally reproduced every issue from cover to cover -- not just the news stories and editorials, but also the photos, graphics, and advertisements. Use the “Choose Database” option to limit to historical articles.  Then enter terms (keywords, dates, author's name, article type, etc.) to search for the full text of any New York Times article from 1851 to the present.  See Mrs. Perkins for Whippany Park’s username and password.

ProQuest Research Library
