View this online version of the popular encyclopedia, which is known for its comprehensive coverage of topics in the humanities, including Language Arts, Social Studies, Art and Music. Curriculum Resource Center
Find lesson ideas and handouts in this database as it “delivers a wealth of visual, clear, informative material that will enhance the middle and high school curriculum. Discover a wealth of information on science, history, multicultural issues, geography, and career guidance topics. It is a comprehensive information resource that also includes a database of subjects such as commonly used government forms, a curriculum resource center with lesson plans and handouts, topics in science and science experiments, detailed references on American women's history, and career guidance information, among many other topics. 

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
Check out this official encyclopedia, which "provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject matter."  Similar to the print version of the Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia.  Available through EBSCOHost.

This online database "helps researchers understand the crucial issues we face today, exploring more than 800 hot topics in buisness, politics, government, education and popular culture." It is an ideal database for reserach papers and debate prep. the database features in-depth and objective articles, pro and con statements, timelines, primary sources, statistical tables, editorial cartoons, issues from headlines, and Bill of Rights in Debate. Available through Facts on File News Services database.

MAS Online
Search “nearly 230 general interest and current events magazines, including full text for more than 150. This database includes over 400 full text pamphlets and 10 nearly full text reference books." Available through EBSCOHost.

MasterFILE Premier
Search this “multidisciplinary database which provides full text for more than 2,000 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, this database also includes nearly 450 full text references books, 84,000 biographies, 86,000 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 107,000 photos, maps and flags." Available through EBSCOHost.

Newsbank
Explore these 2,500 diverse sources including local newspapers, international news agencies, periodicals, wire services, television and radio transcripts, science journals, United Nations documents, U. S. Historical documents and statistical publications. Examine the “selected full text for nearly 30 national (U.S.) and international newspapers. The database also contains full text television & radio transcripts, and selected full text for more than 200 regional (U.S.) newspapers." Available through EBSCOHost.

Use Novelist to find similar books to those that you enjoy, or just to locate a book you can't remember the name of! In this database you can also read and print feature articles, book discussion guides, and summaries of a variety of novels.  Available through EBSCOHost.

ProQuest Research Library
Print out articles “from over 3,600 magazines and journals on a broad range of general reference subjects including the arts, children, education, health, humanities, international topics, law, multicultural topics, the military, psychology, science, social science and women.”  Available through Morris County Library; use your public library barcode to log on. 

Student Research Center
Try out this “new, student-friendly EBSCO interface for secondary school students. The Student Research Center interface offers an easy-to-use, powerful alternative to the existing EBSCOhost interface that supports middle and high school-focused EBSCO databases.”  Here, you will search the same EBSCO database holdings, but view them through a more colorful, user-friendly screen.  Available through EBSCOHost.
