American College of Sports Medicine - For those interested in obtaining Personal Training Certification - no college degree required. Certification to be a health/fitness instructor, exercise specialist, & registered clinical exercise physiologists require a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Aerobics & Fitness Association of America - For those interested in becoming an aerobics, pilates, yoga, kickboxing, or step instructor. No college degree required, but must be CPR certified.
National Academy of Sports Medicine - For those interested in becoming a certified personal trainer. Must be 18 & CPR certified. A college degree is required for the Performance Enhancement Specialist Certification
The National Strength & Conditioning Association - For those interested in becoming a strength & conditioning specialist. A college degree is required for certification. For those interested in becoming a certified personal trainer, must be CPR certified & no college degree required.
