Whippany Park High School

Welcome to Whippany Park High School, one of two high schools in the Hanover Park Regional High School District. Whippany Park High School is a comprehensive high school for students in grades 9 through 12 and proudly recognized by the U.S. News and World Report as a 2022 Best High School in the nation. Additionally, we have been recognized as a 2022 Top 100 High Schools in NJ by Niche.com, and awarded a 2019, 2020, & 2021 College Success award by Greatschools.org.  Whippany Park High School ranked as number 47 in New Jersey Monthly's Top 100 High Schools of 2018, was recognized by Newsweek as a 2019 Top 5,000 STEM school in the nation and designated by the Washington Post as one of America’s Most Challenging High Schools of 2017. 

 Further, Whippany Park has been recognized for its efforts in character education by the New Jersey Alliance for Social, Emotional, and Character Development; as a State District of Character; and as a National District of Character by the Character Education Partnership (CEP) in Washington D.C. for promoting our core values of caring, citizenship, fairness, respect, responsibility, and fairness. Recently, Whippany Park received the  Promising Practice Award by the CEP as a result of our students’ efforts in the arena of service-based academic projects. Due to our efforts to create and sustain a tolerant and inclusive school environment that promotes respect for individual differences while challenging bigotry and prejudice.  Further, Whippany Park has been named a No Place for Hate by the Anti-Defamation League for eight consecutive years.

Whippany Park’s administration, faculty, and staff share a common goal to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment for our students to develop the skills and acquire the requisite knowledge to become responsible, conscientious, and successful citizens in the 21st century. Aligning our efforts with the District’s Educational Plan, Whippany Park strives to continually improve through the development of our programs and by meeting the diverse needs of all of our students.

Each member of the Whippany Park High School community takes pride in our association and partnership with Hanover Township - a community that is committed to excellence and in support of our educational mission.  Above all else, we are a community that is  extremely proud of our students and their many achievements.
